Snap! Go the Jaws of the Alligator
This is the second book in the series. In this story, a catfish learns that alligators do not make the best friends. The story takes place in a bayou in Mississippi. Something about swamps and bayous fascinated me as a boy (and even today). The low-hanging mist, cypress trees rising up out of the water, and the Spanish moss hanging down from the branches of the trees made them seem so mysterious. The book features several types of animals living in these wetlands. I hope this book helps you to discover the wonder and beauty of the swamps and bayous!
